Fishing Report Update - March 2
Alright time to catch up on the fishing!
Recently the trout fishing on the Niagara River & Port Dalhousie has been very good. The frozen Lake Erie is keeping the water pretty clean for now.
Warm weather & some rain coming soon so things will transition soon.
Soon, it will be time to start trolling along the Lake Ontario shores for Brown Trout. Also shore anglers will be able to cast spoons from shore. The launch ramp at Port Dalhousie is open.
Walleye season is now closed in FMZ 20 which includes Lake Ontario, Lower Niagara River and the Bay of Quinte.
