Fishing report Update - Sept 6

Fishing report Update - Sept 6

The calendar may say first week of September but the weather and fishing will suggest otherwise!

On Lake Ontario the "stager fishing " continues to be very good. Bronte is very good right out front to about 70 FOW.
Also at Port Dalhousie all the way towards the Niagara River is full of Salmon right now. Flasher /flies seem to be working best now, along with meat rigs and plugs
As well some really nice Coho are being caught in various ports around the lake too.

On calm days if you can get out Offshore in 200-300 fow you can expect very good fishing for steelhead, chinook and Coho. Run spoons 30-60 feet down & cover water until you connect.

Good luck to everyone competing in the last Salmon tournament of the season this coming weekend The Bronte Classic.

Before the winds kicked up on the weekend the Walleye fishing on Lake Erie had been very good too. Maitland was producing very well in 80-90 FOW
Worm harnesses seemed to be best. Colors like cherry bomb, watermelon and Jager bomb were good choices.

Good luck to everyone competing in the last Walleye Tournament this weekend in Nanticoke, the Fall Frenzy.

The Lake Erie Bass fishing is still good and will continue to get even better! Come on in & we'll get ya set up!
