May Long Weekend recap!

May Long Weekend Recap!

Any interesting Weekend to say the least. First off we hope everyone stayed safe on & off the water with the various storms that popped up everywhere. On Lake Ontario, the Salmon fishing is getting pretty good once again and we're seeing that the kings are spreading out a bit. Dalhousie to Niagara still seems best from 100-200 generally speaking. Still lots of cohos, some more rainbows, quite a few Atlantics and some big Lake trout. Some more mixed bags catches coming out front of Grimsby/50 point & hearing reports of the same from Port Credit to Pickering. Spoons are a great option still for those mixed bags while flasher/fly & meat rigs taking more of the bigger kings it seems.

Special congratulations to Jesse Little & team Whack Em on winning the St Catharines Game and Fish Association- Port Dalhousie 3x3 Salmon Classic this weekend. Also to Bruce/Ryan Miller, team Split Shot, they now lead the Spring Salmon Derby with a 23.90lb Salmon.

Still very good fishing at the Grand River, Dunnville to Maitland. Walleye, pike, catfish sheepshead, carp, bowling & more all being caught. Great spot to bring the family.

Good Walleye action also happening on the west end of Erie.

More entries coming in for the Catfish Capture contest. Less then 2 weeks to go.

Have a great week everyone.
