Great fishing continues along the South shore from Fifty Point to the Niagara River In a nutshell, the water is still pretty cool, so its kept the fish shallow & not a lot of baitfish have moved in, so they are feeding very competitively. Spoons are the ticket now. Mags & reg sizes. Some of the top patterns are variations of Slapper, Beefeater, Glow Frog, Lazer Spook, Martel & Two Face. Get out when you can!

  Fishing Report Update April 29 Well as we are about to roll into May, there are a lot of great fishing opportunities to be had now & coming up. Of course Lake Ontario Salmon fishing is hitting its spring peak. Good action is still happening in approximately 30-50 fow out of Grimsby,  Jordan,  Port Dalhousie and towards the Niagara River but things will be changing quickly as the water warms & the fish push out deeper. This time of year can present many great fishing opportunities within southern Ontario. Lets touch on a few things that's currently happening. Of course the trolling action along the south shore of Lake Ontario from Grimsby to the Niagara River, continues to produce very good action. Lots of Salmon being caught now. 20-50 FOW is a good zone currently.   Fishing Report Update- March 31 Really good Brown Trout fishing continues all along the South shore. Grimsby, Jordan, Dalhousie, & Port Weller. 7- 20 feet generally. Small spoons and stick baits are all you need currently. Recently a bunch of Coho Salmon are showing up now too in the same areas. Not unusual at all. Lakers & Atlantics being caught as well.
