Well for the most part it was a beauty long weekend for fishing! On Lake Ontario good Salmon continues across the lake. Most ports reporting fair to excellent numbers of fish being caught. A few keys to increasing the number of fish you will catch. 1) Watching the water temperature. Hey all! Some good summer-like weather over the weekend. Lake Ontario. Well it is interesting times all over the lake currently. The Lake is definitely setting up into a summer pattern. The good news is we are seeing lots of bait (alwives) inshore in many places. We are also seeing some exceptionally large Kings caught recently too. While many of the larger ones are coming from the east end, some good ones are showing themselves in various ports too.
